A business meeting of the Inner Wheel Club of Tenby was held on Monday, November 10. A special welcome was given to Jan's sister, Margaret, visiting from Australia, and Ellen was congratulated on the arrival of a granddaughter.
President Joyce reported on the recent events she had attended, and informed members that she would be representing the club at the Remembrance Day service.
Arrangements were made for the candlelight supper to be held on December 5 and tickets were distributed.
Welfare chairman Ellen and several members are making arrangements to visit the residential homes in the area in December and it was suggested that they may do a spot of entertainment! Betty Charnock and her helpers are busy collecting Christmas shoe boxes for Operation Christmas Child.
Overseas chairman Meryl is still collecting items to benefit charities and would be delighted to hear from anyone who would like to do some knitting (wool provided).
The Christmas Lunch will be held at the Broadmead on Monday, December 15. The Inner Wheel Day service on January 11 will be at Penally Church, with lunch to follow at Penally Abbey.
The next club meeting will be on January 12 at 2 pm.
