President Pearl Holding welcomed members to the October meeting of the Narberth and Whitland Club held at the Plas Hyfryd, Narberth. She thanked members for providing teas for Sunnybank and Dolyfelin Residential Homes on their annual coach trip organised by the Rotary Club.

President Pearl had attended the Mayor's Civic Service at Whitland, held at the Tabernacle Chapel. Past president June John agreed to lay the British Legion wreaths in Narberth on November 9. I

An invitation had been received for the gala dinner at the Queen's Hall, Narberth, in celebration of 50 years and Carmarthen Inner Wheel Club would be holding their annual coffee morning on November 8.

Delivery of Meals on wWeels was arranged for two weeks in Narberth.

Members were reminded of the afternoon tea to be held at Whitland Town Hall on October 15 at 3 pm. Everyone is welcome and tickets are available.

President Pearl then welcomed Mrs. Barbara Eddy, of 'Options' at Whitland, who displayed attractive costume jewellery, fashion accessories and individual clothing. Mrs. Eddy was thanked by Mrs. Sylvia James.

The next meeting of the club will be held on November 3.
