President Viv welcomed members to the May meeting of Saundersfoot Inner Wheel Club, held at the St. Brides Spa Hotel, and gave a special welcome to District 15 chairman, Hannah Whatley, who was visiting the club. This special occasion was celebrated with an excellent dinner. A business meeting was held prior to the dinner and president Viv was able to give a good report of all the events attended and charities supported during her year of office. Amongst these was a visit to Shalom House Trust in St. Davids when a cheque was presented to Margaret Burnett, a founder member of the Trust, on behalf of the club. Three members had also joined the Inner Wheel Club of Haverfordwest in their recent 60th birthday celebrations. After dinner, Hannah told of all her experiences and activities during her very interesting year as chairman and a cheque was presented to her for her chosen charity, Kidney Research Wales. The next meeting will be the AGM, to be held on June 7 at the St. Brides Spa Hotel.
