The Wales Air Ambulance received a boost this week thanks to two local Inner Wheel Clubs.

Helen John, president of the Inner Wheel Club of Narberth and Whitland, is pictured with fellow member Kath Phillips and Toni Lucas, president of the Inner Wheel Club of Tenby, presenting cheques to the crew of the Wales Air Ambulance, at their base in Swansea, on Monday.

The cheques were for £1,500 from the Inner Wheel Club of Narberth and Whitland, which was raised mostly from a cabaret evening held in the Queen's Hall, Narberth, in March, and £600 from the Inner Wheel Club of Tenby, which represented half the proceeds of their recent fork luncheon.
