A 69-year-old woman was airlifted to hospital on Sunday afternoon after she fell face down on pebbles at Amroth Beach. Coastguards from Tenby were called to the scene at approximately 2 pm and paramedics treated the woman, who was from Llandissilio, for head injuries and suspected fractures to her wrist and forearm, before she was flown to Withybush Hospital, Haverfordwest, by the Wales Air Ambulance.
