THE first Span Arts Comedy Club of the new year boasts an incredible line-up featuring award-winning Welsh comedian, Lloyd Langford, the original, honest and exciting Irish comedian, Eleanor Tiernan and comedian, actor and writer, Gareth Berliner.

Spot the different date, this comedy club is set to take place at the Queen’s Hall, Narberth, on the first Thursday of February.

Headliner Lloyd Langford is a Welsh comedian and comedy writer who has appeared on Ask Rhod Gilbert and written material for TV shows such as Live At The Apollo, Never Mind The Buzzcocks and The King Is Dead. Lloyd’s hearty comedy crawl is a delicious blend of jokes, stories, observations, ad-libs, one-liners, accents, theories, topical gags and self-deprecation.

Joining Lloyd will be the exciting Irish comedian; Eleanor Tiernan. After abandoning her civil engineering training to become a stand-up in 2004, Eleanor appeared on The Liffey Laughs and BBC’s One Night Stand within her first year of her comedy career. Having performed at an extensive range of impressive events and venues such as the Kilkenny Cat Laughs Comedy Festival, Tiernan is fast becoming a favourite with Irish audiences.

MC for the night will be the Coronation Street star, Gareth Berliner. With a solid eight years of stand-up comedy experience under his belt, Berliner is sure to be the cherry on top of this brilliant evening.
