Staff and regulars at Tenby's Hope and Anchor Inn were 'in the pink' recently when the pub hosted an auction and quiz night in aid of the charity Breakthrough Breast Cancer.

Organised by staff members Jo Cattini, Michelle Lewis, Fern Lewis, Tina Maher and Susie Hicks, with the pub's landlord, Jason Rossiter, overseeing proceedings, the 'pink party' fund-raiser saw a number of teams enter the quiz, while Jo took charge of an auction where several items donated by businesses were given away to bidders.

With Barclays Bank also agreeing to match-fund the money raised on the night, a terrific total of £1,650 was realised.

The team at the Hope and Anchor would like to thank all the local businesses that kindly donated prizes for the auction and also all those who attended and donated to such a worthy cause.
