Two holidaymakers were rescued by Tenby inshore lifeboat crew on Saturday after getting into difficulties whilst walking along the beach near Saundersfoot.
Graham Otter and his wife Becky, who were from Birmingham, got cut off by the tide shortly after 3 pm whilst they were walking from Saundersfoot to Penally.
The alarm was raised by a member of the public on the cliff path near Lodge Farm, New Hedges, who reported seeing two people cut off by the tide and waving at her from the shoreline.
As a result, Milford Haven coastguard tasked the inshore lifeboat crew to carry out a shoreline search and Tenby coastguard unit was also dispatched to investigate.
The couple were found safe and well at Pigeons Cove, near Monkstone Point, by the inshore crew who transported them back to Saundersfoot.
