Tenby's inshore lifeboat was launched at 5.10 pm on Easter Sunday after a 14-foot Dory was reported to be in difficulties off Monkstone Point.

Milford Coastguard requested lifeboat assistance after both of the vessel's outboards had broken down.

The casualty was unable to paddle against the wind so decided to try and head down wind along the coast towards Tenby.

The casualty was also accompanied by his two dogs, all three were wearing lifejackets.

The ILB took the casualty in tow off Waterwynch and towed the vessel to Saundersfoot to be assisted by Tenby Coast Rescue Team where the boat was recovered.
