If you need to water 5,000 daffodils, who are you going to call - well Mid and West Wales Fire and Rescue Service were tasked to assist with the watering of the ‘A heart-FULL of gratitude’ display sited at the entrance to Withybush General Hospital last week, created to bring a smile to the faces of NHS staff across the country.

The floral display was created for fresh produce and daffodil producer Blas y Tir by Saundersfoot Flower Farmer Florist Rachel Treadaway-Williams of ‘Violet + Wylde’.

Emyr Thomas, Operational Assurance Officer, Mid & West Wales Fire & Rescue Service: “As a Service it was a pleasure to assist and join local businesses and the wider community in showing our appreciation and gratitude to the staff of Withybush Hospital, their colleagues from Hywel Dda Health Board and acknowledgment of the wider NHS effort nationally, in what has been an incredibly challenging year.

“This beautiful floral installation will bring a smile to both staff and patients as they enter the hospital.”
