The annual South Pembrokeshire Hunt Week took place recently, with a packed programme of events and activities enjoyed by all. "Everything went well for the week, with all events and activities well supported and enjoyed by everyone involved," reported Hunt Week chairman, Dennis Reed. "On the Monday, the charity trivia quiz night, sponsored by former treasurer Ken Morgan at the Swallow Tree Gardens in Saundersfoot, was a great success, with the winning team, 'No Hopers', captained by David Llewelyn, scooping the Hancock Trophy and £100 towards the charity of their choice, while the memorabilia evening at the Merlewood Hotel on the Wednesday was also a very enjoyable night. "The two Variety Shows at Kilgetty's RAOB Club also provided great fun and enjoyment and were well suppported by enthusiastic audiences, with proceeds from the second night going to 'Adam's Bucketful of Hope' and a magnificent £900 raised for the appeal," continued Dennis. "The week ended with the Hunt Ball on the Saturday at Kiln Park and, despite a cold evening, a hugely enjoyable time was had by all, with an excellent meal provided by Judy Lewis and her wonderful team of helpers. There was also plenty of dancing, with excellent music provided by London based band Charm," added Dennis, who would like to thank everyone for their wonderful support and generous donations.
