Sir, The Tenby Observer dated October 3, 2104, contained the minutes of Saundersfoot Community Council. I note with interest the declaration by County Councillor Phil Baker that he was one of the signatories to a notice of motion of no confidence in both Mr. Bryn Parry Jones, CEO, and Jamie Adams, leader of Pembrokeshire County Council. There has been much criticism in the press regarding the salary that has been paid to the CEO and other senior officers at County Hall. Perhaps Clr. Baker could inform the readers of the Tenby Observer how, if the Chief Executive leaves the council, he would propose and to what level reduce the salary of any incoming CEO when there are so many highly paid directors and managers presently employed by Pembrokeshire County Council.

Malcolm Calver, Manorbier.
