Wales Office Minister Wayne David, along with Nick Ainger MP, will meet with local businesses from South Pembrokeshire next Thursday, February 19, to discuss measures to tackle the recession.

Small and medium sized businesses from across the south of the county have been invited to attend the meeting at the Cleddau Bridge Hotel, to hear what packages are now available to help them through the recession. It is also a chance to tell the Minister how their businesses are being affected and what action they want to see.

Nick Ainger said: "Wayne David and I will feed through the views of local businesses to the National Economic Council, who recommend action at national level.

"Business people need to know how to access the help available from the UK and Welsh governments. But both governments want to hear directly from them what their priorities are. Rapid feedback and effective action will help us minimise and shorten the recession."

The meeting is at 2 pm on Thursday, February 19, at the Cleddau Bridge Hotel, Pembroke Dock. Anyone from a small or medium sized business wishing to attend can phone Nick Ainger's constituency office on 01646 684404 to reserve a place.
