Brooklands Nursing and Residential Home held a fund-raising day at Saundersfoot harbour in aid of QUACKS on Saturday, August 10.
This was to help raise money to support the Medical Centres in Saundersfoot and Kilgetty. Aim is to raise enough money to buy an ECG machine, the cost of which would be around £5,000.
Management and staff were delighted with the support they received from holidaymakers and local people alike.
Staff made and cooked Welsh cakes on the harbour - the aroma brought crowds from afar!
The grand total raised at the time of going to press was £110.
It was such a success that they are having the same stall again tomorrow (Saturday) - with the added bonus of assorted cakes -from 10 am.
All are welcome.
