Campaigners from all over the county have been urged to atttend a protest in the Welsh capital next month to help fight closures at Withybush Hospital.

Twenty coaches will travel from Pembrokeshire up to Cardiff on Wednesday, March 4, to take campaigners to the capital to protest outside the Senedd between 11.30 am and 1 pm.

The protest has been organised by the Save Withybush Action Team (SWAT), who have stated that this could be the last chance to influence health minister, Mark Drakeford, to reassess plans to close the Special Care Baby Unit, as well as cuts to obstetric and paediatric services.

Anyone looking to book a place on a coach for Pembroke Dock, Kilgetty, Tenby and Saundersfoot can ring 01437 766215, whilst those wishing to travel from Narberth can contact 01834 861322. Pick-up times are scheduled to be between 8 and 9 am.
