The annual general meeting of Saundersfoot Cricket Club was held recently at the Saundersfoot Sports and Social Club. James Caine was elected as 1st XI captain and Chris Parker as the 2nd XI captain.
After a successful season which saw the 2nd XI promoted to Division Five and the 1st XI finishing fourth in Division Two, despite only playing nine games, hopes are high for another successful season.
As a number of the juniors have moved up to the senior sides, Saundersfoot are looking for youngsters over the age of 11 to bolster their junior sides. With qualified coaches and good equipment available, new players and old are asked to attend the first indoor net sessions booked for March 8, 2-4 pm, at Tenby Leisure Centre.
An under 9s team is also available for younger children (girls and boys) who are looking to start playing cricket.
