St. Florence Church was the picturesque setting for the wedding on Saturday of Mr. Alan Baynes and Miss Jane Eve Rees-Jones.

The groom, who works in retail, is the only son of Jean and Ray Baynes, of Braintree, Essex, while the bride, a marketing manager, is the only daughter of Margaret Jones and the late David Jones, of Elm Grove, St. Florence.

Given away by her brother, Mathew Jones, the bride wore a corseted full-length pale pink dress.

She was attended by close friends Miss Clare Wilks, who acted as head bridesmaid, and Mrs. Sarah Williams, bridesmaid. Flower girl was Jasmine Acton, groom's niece.

Best man was Andrew Bell and the ushers were Mathew Williams and Brian Spencer. Page boy was Luke Acton.

The service was conducted by Rev. V. Millgate and was followed by a reception at Elm Grove Hotel, St. Florence.

The couple, who are making their home in Cardiff, are spending their honeymoon in Thailand.
