Honeymooning in Lanzarote following their wedding on Saturday at Cwmwennol Hotel, Saundersfoot, are Derek Shaw and Jennifer Sanders, both of Templeton.
The groom is now retired, while the bride, a nursery assistant at Grandiflora Garden Centre in St. Florence, is the daughter of Joyce and Douglas Cox, of Saundersfoot.
Given away by her father, the bride wore a pale peach three-piece suit with long skirt and jacket, decorated with hand-stitched beading, and a large brimmed beige hat. She carried a hand-tied bouquet in autumn colours.
In attendance was matron-of-honour, the bride's sister, Hilary Harvey.
Best man was David Chapman, close friend of the groom, and the usher was Henry Fullick, friend of the bride and groom.
The ceremony, conducted by Joy Walker, was followed by a wedding breakfast and evening party at Cwmwennol Hotel.
