Picton Castle, Haverfordwest, was the picturesque setting for the wedding on Saturday of Mr. Stephen Davies and Miss Lisa Cotterill. The groom, a process operator at Texaco oil refinery, Pembroke, is the son of Allan and Diane Davies, of 'Ragged Staff', Sardis, Saundersfoot, while the bride, a midwife at the West Wales General Hospital, Carmarthen, is the daughter of Rod and Pat Cotterill, of 17 Bala Grove, Cheadle, Given away by her father, the bride wore a strapless ivory chiffon dress with a long shaped skirt and a lace-up beaded bodice. Bridesmaids were Sian Powner and Mandy Bevan, close friends, while flower girl was Macci-Rose Davies, bride and groom's daughter. Best man was Kevin Edwards, close friend, and the ushers were Marc Cotterill (bride's brother) and Andy Bevan (close friend). The ceremony was conducted by Mrs. B. A. Eron, superintendent registrar. Music was provided by West Wales Music and there was singing by the bride's brother, Marc Cotterill. A reception was held at St. Bride's Hotel, Saundersfoot, followed by a garden party at the home of the groom's parents. The couple are spending their honeymoon in Jamaica and will be making their home in Ludchurch.
