A honeymoon in India and Sri Lanka followed the wedding recently at St. Thomas A Beckett Church, Haverfordwest of Mr. Justin Simon Williams and Miss Rachel Maclean-Walker.
The groom, a police officer with Dyfed Powys police, is the son of Mrs. Non Williams, of Ty Dewi, Pentle Drive, Pentlepoir and the late Rev. David Williams, former Rector of St. Mary's Church, Begelly.
The bride, a communications operator also with Dyfed Powys police, is the daughter of Donald and Marion Maclean-Walker, of 10 Beechlands Park, Haverfordwest.
Given away by her father, the bride wore a white duchess satin bodice and skirt with train and full-length silk veil. She carried a bouquet of white and pink lisianthus, white calla lilies and roses.
Bridesmaid was Megan George, bride's cousin who wore a pink bodice and skirt, while the flower girl, Rebecca Williams, groom's niece, wore a white satin and net ruched skirt and pink bow.
Best men were Paul Thomas, of New Zealand and David Evans, of Carmarthen, while the ushers were Steven Maclean-Walker, bride's brother, Martin Riggs, bride's cousin and Alwyn Lewis and David Williams, groom's friends.
The wedding ceremony was conducted by Rev. Derek Evans and the organist was Mrs. Margaret Robinson.
A wedding reception was held at Folly Farm, where Phil Dando's 15-piece dance band entertained the guests.
Later the the bride's bouquet and the groom's buttonhole were placed on the grave of the groom's father.
The couple will be making their home in Llanteg.
