Honeymooning in Corfu following their wedding at St. Nicholas and St. Teilo Church, Penally, on Saturday are Mr. Ben D'Arcy and Miss Wendy Gillespie.
The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Tony D'Arcy, of Thalatta, Penally, while the bride, is the daughter of Mr. A. Gillespie, Oakenshaw, Redditch and Mrs. A. Gillespie, of Cayton, Scarborough.
Given away by her father, the bride wore a Ronald Joyce ivory silk gown with short train.
She was attended by Niki Stenson, her best friend from school, and her sister Clare Marshall, who wore cornflower blue raw silk dresses, and Hannah D'Arcy, groom's niece, who wore an ivory raw silk dress with cornflower blue and gold embroidery.
Best man was Vaughan Sivell and the ushers were Tomas D'Arcy and Richard Ralph.
The ceremony was conducted by Canon David Jenkins and Monsignor Clyde Johnson, while the organist was Dr. John Harrison.
Following the service, a reception was held at the Park Hotel, Tenby.
The couple will make their home in Ruscombe, Stroud.
