St. Mary's Church, Tenby, was the picturesque setting for the wedding on Saturday of Mr. Christopher Robert William Todd and Miss Angharad Laura Evans.

The groom, a Metropolitan police officer, is the son of Barbara and George Todd, of Wolsingham, Durham, while the bride, a sales and operations manager with Debenhams, is the daughter of Terry and Nicole Evans, of 8 Upper Hill Park, Tenby. The bride also plays the violin in Epsom and Ewell Symphony Orchestra.

Given away by her father, the bride wore a strapless embroidered lace and tulle gown and carried a bouquet of roses, gentian and heather.

Bridesmaids were Rhiannon Wilde (bride's sister), Niki Craig and Wendy D'Arcy (bride's school friends) and Diana Maher (bride's university friend). They wore dusky pink strapless silk dresses and carried pink and cream roses.

Page boys were Dylan D'Arcy and Charlie Craig (bride's godsons).

Best man was Stuart Todd (groom's brother), while ushers were Daniel Evans (bride's brother) and Philip Todd (groom's brother).

The ceremony was conducted by Rev. Michael John, with Dr. John Harrison at the organ. Tenby Male Choir - of which the bride's father is chairman - also sang during the service.

A wedding reception was held at Castlemead, Manorbier, in the sunshine, with music by Stringdipity, followed by a disco at night.

The couple, who are spending their honeymoon in Borneo, including a visit to an orang-utan sanctuary, are making their home in Epsom, Surrey.
