Married recently at Thomas Memorial Congregational Church, Saundersfoot, were John Alan 'Steven' Mitchell and Claire Helen Davies.

The groom, a development worker at The Anchorage Social Activity Centre, is the only son of John and Jan Mitchell, of 36 St. Davids Road, Pembroke, while the bride, a programme centre administrator for Pembrokeshire County Council, is the youngest daughter of Ann Davies and the late Alun Davies, of 46 St. Anns Crescent, Pembroke.

Given away by her mother, the bride wore an ivory two-piece strapless gown in duchess satin. The bodice was detailed with gold embroidery and was complemented by a plain full skirt.

The bride carried a bouquet of fresh flowers made of cream and gold roses.

The bridesmaids were Anna Weidemann (bride's cousin), Sharon Empson (bride's sister), Nicola Prosser (groom's sister) and Megan Bateman (bride's cousin). The page boy was Owen Bateman (bride's cousin).

The best man was Justin Williams (groom's friend) and the ushers were Leighton Williams (groom's cousin), Matthew Weidemann (bride's cousin) and Martin Owens (groom's friend).

The service was conducted by Pastor Peter Morgan.

After honeymooning in Barbados, the couple will make their home in Pembroke.
