Local police have reported a relatively trouble free Bank Holiday weekend.
Although there were some 20 arrests made between Friday and Monday, there were no major disturbances or serious offences reported, it has been revealed.
"The area was very busy with holidaymakers and people enjoying themselves, but I am pleased to say that the vast majority of people were well behaved," Inspector Ewan Davies, of Tenby police station told the Observer.
"Compared to other holiday weekends, it was a relatively quiet Bank Holiday for incidents," he continued.
"We made a determined effort to have a highly visible and positive policing impact," he explained.
"We had an above average number of officers on duty and from my point of view it proved successful."
The 20 arrests made by officers in the area were for offences including public order, motoring and possession of drugs.
"Out of the 20 arrests, 15 were for drugs offences," Insp. Davies pointed out.
"They were not major seizures, but personal use type of offences," he explained.
"It was also very busy traffic wise, the weather made an impact on that especially on Sunday and Monday, but there were none other than the normal traffic problems," added the officer.
