Police are investigating a hit and run road accident in St. Florence.

Sometime between 8 pm on Saturday and 10.30 am the following morning, a vehicle drove the wrong way on the one-way system from the direction of Flemish Close towards the Parsonage Inn and collided with the hedge of a premises, damaging hedging and metal fencing.

Police say the vehicle was light in colour and will have damage to the front nearside.
