To celebrate the culmination of a superb season for both Tenby United RFC and Tenby AFC, Mayor of Tenby, Clr. Mrs. Sue Lane, held a special reception for both clubs in the Mayor's Parlour on Sunday. In addition to Tenby United winning promotion to League Division One (West), this is the first season in living memory that both clubs have won their respective senior Knock Out Cup competitions in the same season. To mark the occasion, Clr. Mrs. Lane presented both clubs with Mayoral Certificates of Recognition of Achievement. Committee members of both clubs, together with Rhys John, representing Andrew Price (who sponsors both teams), are pictured receiving their certificates from the Mayor.
