Join the local fundraiser for 98-year-old homeless veteran Alfred Guenigault.

Pembroke veteran Darren Edmundson has organised a Hike for a Hero on behalf of PTSD Camp Bath as part of a campaign to get the community together in support of D-Day Veteran Alfi Guenigault, who is currently living in a hostel.

The 98-year-old World War II veteran from Dorset has been served a no-fault eviction notice and has been forced into temporary accommodation.

The Hike for a Hero can be walked or run and covers the 10-mile stretch from Pembroke to Tenby.

The 3 Amigos motorcycle charity group have said they will be joining in the event, which will take place on September 23, starting at Pembroke Railway Station at 10am.

Darren is urging all locals to join in or sponsor the hikers to help Alfi.
