Louise Bird is to be congratulated on gaining the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art Performance Certificate (P.Cert.LAM) after a course of study at Pembroke Dock Community Learning Centre.
She joined the LAMDA classes run by Mrs. Jillian Rawlins two years ago as a mature student, achieved excellent results in her grade examinations, and is now considering a new career connected with theatre.
She is the first student in Pembrokeshire to achieve this high qualification.
LAMDA courses run by Prembrokeshire Learning continue this year at Pembroke Dock CLC, Tenby CLC and Stepaside School where students may be prepared for a range of examinations in Speech and Drama.
