This was the scene at Amroth early on Tuesday morning as the highest tide of the year hit the Pembrokeshire coastline. The dramatic photograph was taken between 7.30 and 8 am by Peter Williams, of the New Inn, as vehicles dodged the huge waves breaking over the sea defences. Fortunately, however, despite stones being strewn across the road, no damage was caused.
