The 'Ludchurch Horse and Pony Show' held its annual event recently, and once again the day proved to be an enormous success.

A large number of entries along with supporters and, of course the fine weather, all contributed to make the day thoroughly enjoyable and to provide a high level of competition for all the entrants.

A further attraction on the day was the 'Novelty Dog Show', which boasted over 140 entries and was kindly judged by Lyn Turpin.

Any Variety over 12 inches: Jakita Roach with 'Squeak'.

Best Long tail: Tiffany Roach with 'Shadow'.

Best Short Tail: Non Jenkin with 'Cinderella'.

Dog with most Appealing Eyes: Mrs. Rees with 'Bessy'.

Dog with Waggiest Tail: Ellie Scourfield with 'Domino'.

Dog Judge would like to 'Take Home': Tessa Burke with 'Daisy'.

Fancy Dress: Eleanor Stevens with 'Buttons' and Wendy Lloyd with 'Digby'.

The organisers would like to thank everyone who helped to organise the show with special thanks to the judges, stewards and most of all the competitors in both the Horse and Pony and the Dog Show, the standard and turnout was exceptional.
