As Rev. Peter Richmond continued his series on Acts he traced Paul and Barnabus on the first missionary journey. He observed what he called the 'yo-yo' principle. No sooner had the apostles met with success and popularity when trouble came in the form of angry religious people who refused to be persuaded by the new teachings about Christ.

"Christianity is not trouble-free," remarked Peter. "Jesus said 'In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world.'"
