The congregation was somewhat decimated on Sunday owing to sudden illness, so the pastor, Rev. Peter Richmond, just gave a taster of his new series on Obadiah by reading from the Old and New Testament passages concerning Esau and the nation that stemmed from him: the Edomites.
Well-known worship songs and hymns referred to Father, Son and Spirit, and were sung well, despite the low turn-out.
Prayers were said for friends, thanks given to God and the 122nd Psalm was read in unison.
