This week, the pastor, Rev. Peter Richmond, continued to talk about the miracles in the gospel of John. These are somtimes called the seven signs of John, and they show that Jesus was not just a great teacher, but that he did things that an ordinary man could not have done.
The sign in question on Sunday was an occasion when Jesus walked on water. People today often refer to this as a sign that someone is more than human, but have lost sight of the fact that Jesus did it!
