Sir, We are writing to you, to ask for help. We have recently organised, bought and fitted a new fitness room on the school site, for use by pupils in the sixth form. It was a challenge, but we have managed to successfully complete it. However, we desperately need financial help to cover the costs of the room and to keep it open for future generations of the school. We believe that this room will not only benefit ourselves in the sixth form currently, but also benefit the future students of the sixth form in 15 years time. We believe that this has come at a great time with the current government scheme of introducing more exercise for young people to keep the youngsters of today and the future generations of tomorrow healthy. However, unless we can gain some financial sponsorship, we believe we will have to close the new fitness room within a matter of months. We are, therefore, appealing to local businesses in the area to make a difference, and help the local community. We believe that if the businesses in the local community don't care, then no-one else will. We are currently looking to raise £800 to keep the new facility afloat; this is on top of the £400 we have already raised within the school. If anyone feels they could help with what we believe to be a worthwhile cause, then contact any of the following: Mr. Julian Dessent (01834) 840100; Mr. Matthew Davies (01834) 840100; Mr. Chris Oliver (01834) 840100. Shortly we will be holding an evening for our potential donors to come and visit our school, and to take a look at the fitness room so far, and to view a short presentation on all of the information concerning the new fitness room; also there will be an opportunity to talk to players of the Senior XV rugby team and staff.

Mr. Julian Dessent, Senior XV rugby team, Greenhill Sixth Form,
