The Hedgecrashers Ladies Cycling Group have been giving one last push this week before tapering down their training for tomorrow’s (Saturday’s) World Champion Cardiff Half Marathon.

The ladies have been out training in all weathers, cold, wet, wind and dark, all in aid of of a great cause, the Wales Air Ambulance, who came quickly to the rescue for member Paula Smith and husband Mike when they had an accident before Christmas.

The girls are seen here with the Mayor of Tenby, Paul Rapi, in support of their endeavours! Clr. Rapi said: “I wish the ladies every success in their fundraising for this very worthwhile cause.”

Amongst the girls have been niggling jnjuries and illnesses throughout the past weeks, but the determination of each and every one of them will get them past that finishing line, with their friends Paula and Mike close to their hearts who are on the road to recovery.

Please help them by donating to their just giving page http://uk.virginmoneygiving.com/team/hedgecrashers

The girls are also organising a coffee morning at the Regency Hall, Saundersfoot, on April 16, and will also continue to raise money and accompany the Tenby Aces with their charity base to base cycle for Wales Air Ambulance in June.
