One of the main roads into Pembroke was closed for a time on Monday morning because of flooding.

Heavy rain caused the closure of the A4075 at Pennybridge.

The A4115 between Cross Hands and Templeton was also closed for a time when the road became impassable because of floodwater.

Also affected was the A4139 between Hodgeston and Lamphey and the Lower Lamphey Road just outside Pembroke.

Flooding was a problem too for motorists between Jeffreyston and Reynalton.

During the morning, Pembrokeshire County Council workmen delivered sandbags to properties in Narberth, Clynderwen and Llanfyrnach.
