The club held its ninth annual general meeting last week and, although attendance was lower than hoped for, it turned out to be a very good meeting.

All the main offices of the club were filled: president - Mr. Hugh Davies; chairman - Lewis Hilling; secretary - Tony Lamb; treasurer - Mrs. Cynthia Evans; vice-chairman - Tony Shaw; fixture secretary - Mrs. Audrey Owen; tournament secretary - Mike Goldingay; membership secretaries - Peter Bissell and Mrs. Lorna Bissell; bar manager - John Dugmore; and press officer - Ron Brabon.

The treasurer of nine years, Mr. Gwynfor Davies, felt unable to carry on in office after undergoing serious surgery during the year. The officers and members were loud in their praise and thanks to Gwynfor for the excellent way he had 'kept the books' and wished him speedy good health.

Members are reminded of the club presentation evening on April 2. This will commence at 7.30 and a buffet will be served immediately afterwards. Members, please make every effort to attend, and help to make it an enjoyable evening.
