Heatherton Country Sports Park has opened the second of its new attractions for 2001. First the crazy golf and now the two-acre coarse fishing lake, filled with over 3,000 fish.
And who better then to try out the new attraction than the staff of Heatherton in a two-hour event, which included a great deal of Budweiser, a barbecue and a lot of fish!
The great night, however, had an air of seriousness about it as £50 was riding on the biggest fish - and, what a surprise (!), the winner was Heatherton's on-site professional angling instructor, Scott Heaps, who caught a 4lb mirror carp.
Heatherton are offering any business or large group the chance to take advantage of this night out, which includes food and drink and a great night's fishing.
"Come along and see if you can catch our golden tagged fish which could win the lucky angler £1,000 in cash," said a spokesperson.
