Toddlers from Manorbier Playgroup were given a boost last week when they received a gift of £200 from oil company, Total.

The cheque will help with the playgroup's healthy eating initiative, which they have continued to encourage following the government's recent 'Eat Right, Smile Bright' campaign.

The scheme, which is run on Friday mornings for the 'parent and toddler' sessions, sees the children encouraged to eat healthily, with a range of fruit snacks available.

From Monday to Thursday, the playgroup, which is based at the school, caters for ages two to four, while the toddlers group gathers on Fridays. Vacancies are currently available - contact 01834 871437 for further details.
