Transport challenges in rural Wales affecting hospital appointments

“MISSED a hospital appointment - because you couldn’t get there?” asks Pembrokeshire Reform MS Paul Marr.

“This is unfortunately a common problem across rural Wales, where transport can make accessing essential hospital appointments incredibly difficult,” he says.

“I’m aware of the challenges many residents are facing, and I want to hear from those affected so I can help.

Mr Marr wants to hear from local residents if they had to cancel or miss a hospital appointment because…

- Your hospital transport was cancelled;

- You were unable to book hospital transport;

- No public transport was available;

- A taxi was too expensive – particularly fares over £100.
