Thanks go to the Withybush League of Friends who recently purchased a brand new bike shelter for Withybush General Hospital.

The shelter cost a total of £11,688 and funds were raised from a regular book stall at the hospital, collection boxes and local donations to the group.

John Evans, general manager at Withybush Hospital, said: “Our vision is to encourage all employees of and visitors to Withybush Hospital to improve their overall health by being more physically active. We want to promote and encourage employee and visitor participation in regular moderate physical activity with the aim of creating a workplace environment which encourages everyone to incorporate physical activity into their daily routine.

“Hywel Dda University Health Board’s recent success in obtaining both the Gold and Platinum Corporate Health Awards emphasised the commitment it has for promoting health and welfare.”
