A new state-of-the-art dental practice has opened its doors in the heart of Carmarthen. The non-NHS practice is offering a wide range of comprehensive services to patients throughout West Wales.

On Friday, January 28, Mayor Gareth John cut the ribbon to open the new practice in the centre of Carmarthen. Cllr John was joined by practice staff and professional rugby players; Zoe Aldcroft, World Rugby Women’s Player of the Year and Natasha “Mo” Hunt, double Olympian and world cup winner. Both Zoe and Mo play alongside practice owner Tim Lewis’ daughter, Bethan Lewis.

Managed by lead dentist, Dr Oliver Badham and practice manager, Erica Day, Carmarthen Dental Centre at 72 Water Street is a digital practice. Using the latest dentistry technology allows the practice to shorten treatment times and thoroughly evaluate patients’ needs.

With intraoral cameras and digital x-ray technology, they can provide detailed reviews, which can lead to early detection and treatment for problems before complications occur.
