Molly’s Memory, which was set up by Serah and Jamie Barnes, has raised an incredible £3,918 for the Carmarthenshire Bereavement Midwifery Team.
Serah said: “I would like to thank everyone that has supported Molly's Memory since 2019 and attended our events, the 24-hour darts marathon and psychic nights.
“This charity is really close to mine and my family’s heart, raising money in aid of supporting those affected by stillbirth. I will continue to raise money over the coming years through Molly’s Memory.
“I'm hoping to help others that have gone through the devastating loss of a baby and to spread awareness. Raising money and organising events in memory of Molly for the Midwifery Bereavement Team has helped me with my own grief of the loss of my daughter. One thing I have learned is that stillbirth isn't spoken about enough, so raising awareness is so important.”
Nicola Llewelyn, Head of Hywel Dda Health Charities, the official charity of Hywel Dda University Health Board, said: “We want to say a heartfelt thank you to Serah, Jamie and their supporters for their kindness and generosity.
“The support of our local communities enables us to provide services over and above what the NHS can provide in the three counties of Hywel Dda and we are extremely grateful for every donation we receive.”
Your donations are making a positive difference to the health, wellbeing and experience of NHS patients, service users and staff.
