A Health and Wellbeing Demonstration Day was held at New Hedges Village Hall in Memory Kathy Scarfe. Kathy’s daughters (pictured) organised the event in aid of Paul Sartori Hospice at Home as their mother had received equipment from the charity.

It was a beautiful day in New Hedges and people came along to receive complementary therapy treatments and other activities that were arranged. Many other people turned out to support this event, which was organised by Melisa, Catherine and Allison to raise funds for Paul Sartori in memory of their mother, Kathy who lived in Jameston.

Sandra Dade, charity manager from Paul Sartori, attended the fundraiser in aid of the hospice charity, commented: “It was a fantastic event that was very well-supported. We are very grateful to people like Melisa for thinking about us. An outstanding £1,113 was raised on the day, and I would like to thank everyone who came along to support this fantastic one off event in memory of Kathy.”
