Pupils and staff at Penally VC School raised £109 for Comic Relief on Friday. As well as a non-uniform and bad hair day, the school entered in the spirit of Red Nose Day with plenty of fun events throughout the day, including a jelly eating competition, face painting and their own version of Fame Academy. The children also iced cakes and put cherries on top for red noses and donated small change to cover a red nose chalked on the playground.
