Haverfordwest Ladies Choir held their post Christmas dinner at Beggars Reach.
Members enjoyed a delicious three-course meal, after which they took part in a quiz presented by choir chairperson Linda and the winner this year was Angela from the alto section.
There were various raffle prizes donated by members. Helen took charge of the draw after Jo sold the tickets.
The annual get-together for the dinner gives the members an ideal opportunity to socialise, as usually when they are together, they are busy practising or performing.
The first practice for the choir this year was Thursday, January 8, when they made a start on the chorus from a 'Midsummer Night's Dream' to be performed at Rhosygilwen on March 15. The choir meet at 7.30 pm every Thursday at St. Martins church hall. Four new members have been welcomed so far this year and anyone wishing to join is welcome to come along.
The choir hold many events throughout the year to generate income to enable them to continue putting on concerts for various charities, so if you are looking for something new to do in 2015, they would be happy to see you at one of their practice nights.
