Mick Booth has taught in Saundersfoot School since 1991.
He has been an innovator, inventor, community liaison, children's advocate, fund-raiser, gardener, outdoor activities organiser, handyman, roof climber and football rescuer, into the woods and beyond adventurer, New Year's Day swimmer, costume wearer, a Pied Piper of pupils and all round indispensable good guy! And in his spare time, he's also managed to teach science and technology to thousands of children.
After all this frenetic activity, Mr. Booth will be retiring in July.
The school is holding an afternoon tea party on Monday, July 13, with the presentation taking place at 2 pm.
It is Mr. Booth's dearest wish to share this celebration with parents and pupils, past and present.
Please go along if you can make it. Mrs. Shooter (nursery) is collecting contributions to his retirement gifts should you wish to chip in.
