Now summer is coming to a close, the leaves are turning and the nights are drawing in, perhaps you are looking for a colourful night out to raise your spirits.

If so, why not brighten up your Saturday evening at a Twmpath organised by the Pembrokeshire Project. You can bring a crowd, enjoy yourself and raise funds all at the same time. How good would that be?

Join them on Saturday, September 24, from 7 until 11.30 pm, at Pembroke Town Hal,l for a raucous night of fun and laughter. Enjoy the live Twmpath band, Aligrogan, well known locally to many. Their caller is one of the best. Take a break halfway through the evening to enjoy a locally produced fish and chip supper and enjoy a cold drink or two from the licensed bar before swinging back into more dancing.

For those who may not know, Twmpath is a Welsh word literally meaning a 'hump'. In days gone by, it signified the mound on the village green where local and visiting musicians would sit and play while villagers and townsfolk danced whilst catching up on all the local gossip! Today, Twmpath has more of a meaning for the event itself. A fun and crazy night, including traditional dances, called out to you by the band's caller, enjoyed with friends and neighbours. An altogether fantastic social evening and all the while you will be raising funds for SPH and Help for Heroes.

Tickets for this brilliant occasion are just £15 each and must be purchased in advance. The ticket price includes entry and your supper. Tables of eight or 10 are available, with larger tables available upon request.
