Last Thursday, Whitland Primary School celebrated their thanksgiving. Every class took part in the service and the script was written by Year 4, 5, 6 pupils. The theme undertaken was Fairtrade and the charity, Seeds for Africa. Rev. Beti Wyn James was the invited speaker and the message she conveyed to the pupils was the importance of working together and supporting each other. Over £200 worth of Fairtrade goods were sold and £78 was raised towards Seeds for Africa.
