Hardy swimmers raise over £600 for charity

Four hardy swimmers from Pembroke, Julian Griffiths, Warren Heaton, Ursula Carrol and Anthony Wood, braved the Boxing Day Swim at Tenby and raised a magnificent £617.45 for Macmillan Cancer Relief. They handed their cheque over to chairman of the Pembroke committee, Sylvia Davies, and secretary, Margaret Beckett, last week. They would be delighted if a few more adventurous people would join them next Boxing Day so that an even larger sum could be raised.
